Directions for Anchorage Travelers:

Take the Parks Highway (AK 3) north toward Healy. You’ll enjoy a scenic 11-mile ride through the canyon. Once you reach Healy, turn right onto Healy Spur Road (the Totem Restaurant will be on your right at the corner). Follow this road for about half a mile. As you pass the Tri-Valley Community Center on your left, turn left onto School Road. Travel for about one block, and when the road splits, take the dirt road on your right called Carbon Road. Immediately to your left on Copper Place, you will see a sign for Alaskan Spruce Cabins; follow the driveway up to the cabins. This drive takes approximately 4 hours and covers just over 250 miles, depending on your starting point in Anchorage. 

Remember to have your cameras ready! You never know what you might see!


Directions for Fairbanks Travelers:

Take the Parks Highway (also known as AK 3) south toward Healy, where you will experience 112 miles of stunning Alaskan scenery. Weather permitting, you may even be lucky enough to see Mount Denali (formerly known as Mount McKinley) as you approach Healy. When you enter Healy, turn left onto Healy Spur Road. Follow this road for about half a mile. As you pass the Tri-Valley Community Center on your left, turn left onto School Road. Travel for about one block, and when the road splits, take the dirt road on your right called Carbon Road. Immediately to your left on Copper Place, you will find a sign for Alaskan Spruce Cabins; follow the driveway up to the cabins. This drive takes approximately 2 hours and covers about 112 miles, depending on your starting point in Fairbanks.
